Marina tinha se acostumado à esse luxo, ter tudo do bom e do melhor. Pensando nisso tudo, marcou seu regresso de imediato. Ficou num grande conflito, mas não teve jeito. Queria aproveitar o tempo que ainda lhe restava! Deixou sua criança com quatro meses de idade, em uma instituição de bom nível, e partiu com a intenção de voltar assim que a vida permitisse. A vontade do destino, muitas vezes é cruel! Na volta à capital, Marina sofreu um acidente de avião terrível. Ninguém sobreviveu! Mauro, seu filho, herdou da mãe o suficiente para ser educado em boas instituições. Cresceu , virou um homem profissionalmente bem preparado, na área de engenharia, ganhando muito dinheiro. Faltava algo em sua vida, que o dinheiro não conseguia comprar. Não conseguia amar! Sentia um grande vazio no coração! Tinha um monstro interno congelado que o consumia!
