Somos naturalmente narcisistas. Essa característica é inerente ao ser humano. Num grau normal, isso é bom. Revela um saudável amor próprio e condições de se cuidar para estar neste mundo de uma forma equilibrada. Narcisismo, bem dosado, representa uma boa auto-estima. Num grau exagerado, é patológico. A pessoa se torna extremamente egocêntrica, sem capacidade de empatia! Haje como um trator! Precisa desesperadamente de um espaço onde possa se sentir admirada e respeitada. Busca o que não teve! Quer sempre ser o melhor! Assim se expressa para o mundo. É uma compensação. Na verdade, esse comportamento funciona como uma máscara, que encobre um ser humano inseguro e frágil – uma defesa para se sentir importante, admirado, aceito. No campo social existem muitos doentes narcísicos! No ambiente familiar, no entanto, por haver maior intimidade, sua fragilidade fica mais exposta. “Quanto mais intimidade, menos máscaras”! A relação de uma vida a dois proporciona um bom exemplo de quebra de defesas. O dia-a-dia, na intimidade, é revelador! É um excelente espelho que pode refletir as neuroses de cada um. Muitas vezes, em discussões, ouvimos do companheiro, acusações sobre o nosso comportamento. Não aceitamos! Ficamos com muita raiva. É difícil reconhecer que somos imperfeitos! Nosso narcisismo não aceita. Recebemos como uma agressão. Claro que a neurose do outro pode, também, estar atuando contra a nossa! Em situações de brigas existe o perigo da soma de neuroses! Intensos riscos! “Ego contra ego”. Briga feroz! Utilizar o racional nesses momentos é salutar. Fugir da reação impulsiva. Após a crise emocional, uma forma de resgatar algum equilíbrio é exercitar a humildade. Autoquestionar-se. Dizia São Paulo: “a humildade é a verdade.” Oportunidade de crescimento e auto conhecimento. Pode ser transformador! Temos dificuldades em admitir nossos defeitos de caráter, mas, também, em reconhecer nossas reais virtudes! Nos vínculos íntimos, expressamos nossas melhores e piores qualidades. Fantasias, desejos, raivas e todos os tipos de sentimentos. Ao mesmo tempo em que podem ser a causa de tantas rupturas, poderiam ser o fertilizante de relações mais genuínas, mais gostosas, se houver a ampliação da consciência. O mundo misterioso das emoções é avassalador! Já no macro cosmo, aqui, no mundo externo, vivemos das aparências. Elas são mais fáceis de administrar. Muitas vezes, são enganosas. Não podemos nos iludir só com as aparências! A estrutura corporal, os gestos e expressões representam a unidade do ser. A psicoterapia pode ajudar muito neste processo de reconhecimento e construção. AUTO CONHECIMENTO! A partir daí fica mais fácil administrar seus traumas e neuroses. Crescimento é de dentro para fora. Fica mais fácil olhar para o mundo de uma forma saudável. Quem se apropria de si mesmo, dificilmente se tornará vítima de alguém. Já sabe o que quer!
